
ADDCOM Contact Centre Soluitons introduces Voice-over-IP Recording for Alcatel Systems

28 August 2006. ADDCOM Contact Solutions announced today the introduction of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) recording for Alcatel Systems. Now ADDCOM can record VOIP from the Alcatel OmniPCX IP phones.
A major advantage is the ability to mix VOIP and traditional Analogue and PBX digital handsets within the same recorder mainframe. ADDCOM can now also decode the Alcatel signalling while also being able to provide the Cli dialled number and record on demand feature from the handset without a CTI connectivity to the Alcatel switch.
The Alcatel digital handsets that are supported are shown below:
IP Touch 40XX series - 40XX IPe-Reflexes series
- PIMphony/Basic /Pro /Team
IP compressions and signalling supported include the following:
- G711
- G729A
- G723
- h323.
- SIP
In line with the leading digital interface technology, ADDCOM decodes additional call data such as the called and calling party numbers directly from the network. This VoIP recording solution fits seamlessly into the current product portfolio of the ADDCOM CallServe II and ADDCOM RecorderLink Pro.
