History of BTAS Pty Ltd

BTAS Pty Ltd was established in 1993 to provide installation and servicing of telecommunications infrastructure.

Through the 90’s BTAS continued to grow its presence and service capability and Fujitsu and Ericsson awarded significant contracts to the Company for installation and service of their products.

Since the year 2000, BTAS has formed many key partnerships with a number of leading vendors including Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya and Polycom enabling us to offer solutions for Voice, Data, Video, Contact Centres and Wireless Office.

Our expertise has been recognised by these vendors, firstly in choosing to partner with BTAS, and secondly in the form of numerous awards.

Recent awards include:

• Alcatel-Lucent Regional Business Partner of the Year 2007.
• Alcatel Australasian Premium Partner of the Year 2004.
• Most Innovative Sale of the Year (Fujitsu) - 2004
• Fujitsu Dealer of the Year 2002, 2003 and 2004

During 2005 BTAS aquired the Brisbane based Fujecom to expand our reach and capability in Queensland. Fujecom’s operations have now been fully integrated into BTAS and the combined entity is now one of the largest multi-vendor suppliers of advanced, voice, data, and contact centre solutions within Australia.

Originally operating from a small office in the Sydney suburb of North Rocks, the Company is now based in modern premises at Macquarie Park in Sydney with branch offices in Melbourne and Brisbane.
